A Tradition of Innovation

Bionic Gloves Technology is brought to you by Hillerich & Bradsby Co. the family-owned, 119-year-old manufacturer of the legendary Louisville Slugger® baseball bats, PowerBilt® golf equipment, and TPS Hockey equipment.
Sports happens to be how Kleinert, 48, gave up his successful orthopedic practice after 10,000 hand surgeries to pursue his dream of better gloves. Hillerich & Bradsby (H&B) first retained him as a consultant to help redesign its TPS Hockey division’s gloves. The results were dramatically improved glove comfort and function, and sales.
Kleinert, soon being labeled “Dr. Strangeglove” around the H&B offices, was then asked to help rework the Louisville Slugger line of baseball and softball batting gloves, catchers’ mitts and first basemen’s gloves. Rave reviews came from the end users along with a spike in sales.
That’s when the decision was made to join forces full-time and establish Bionic Glove Technology to extend this successful effort at better designed, more functional gloves for many uses.

Arthritis Foundation Ease-of-Use Commendation

According to an article recently published in Forbes Magazine: A normal leather glove can reduce grip strength by as much as 24%. Bionic Gloves reduce loss of grip strength to a mere 8%. HOWEVER, for arthritic people, Bionic Gloves improve grip strength 16% over the use of bare hands and improves the ability to twist things like metal knobs by 47%.

PLEASE NOTE: This gardening glove is meant for the normal, everyday tasks of hoeing, raking, digging, planting, mowing, pruning, etc.
For heavier duty tasks, such as moving rocks, landscaping, etc., the reinforced-fingertip Bionic Heavy Duty Gloves and the new Tough Pro Work Gloves or Bionic XWear Garden Gloves and the new Bionic Elite Garden Gloves may be more appropriate.

The gloves give a little...but are best worn with a pretty firm fit. To find out your glove size, measure (in inches) around your hand with a tape measure at the place indicated on the picture to the left. You should use your dominant hand, the right if you are right-handed, and the left if you are left-handed. Use the charts below to determine your proper glove size.
