How Shock-Tek™
Gloves Work:
The Patented Shock-Tek protective technology
is designed to protect the median nerve and help prevent the
symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome and repetitive stress injury
common to many industrial and office workers. Anatomically
designed, it features a unique, patented channel, or groove,
in the palm pad of a glove, to eliminate external pressure
of vibration from reaching the nerve. Sold in pairs.
The patented channel in the Shock-Tek™ protective padding,
as used in our gloves, is placed precisely over the median
nerve based on the anatomy of the hand and is available in
a full range of sizes.
Shock-Tek™ technology also serves as an excellent solution
for hand therapy patients with: post-surgical pain, osteoarthritis,
hand trauma, tendonitis, chronic hand pain, and many other
conditions or symptoms.
Anyone with repetitive hand or wrist positions or exposure
to high pressure or impact on the palm will benefit from the

SIZING:
Measure just below fingers and circle the entire hand. It
should fit so it is snug, not loose - but not too tight. A
tight glove can reduce circulation to the hand and cause symptoms.
The glove should fit so that it does not slide around too
much to maintain proper alignment of the groove over the nerve.
